Bangabasi college optimises traditional values with modernity. With this purpose in mind the college has undertaken various measures that will help the students in enhancing their knowledge and acquire skill for self-employment.

1. College shall introduce various courses on Indian Knowledge System as proposed by the NEP-2020 in compliance with the guidelines of the University of Calcutta.
2. College encourages innovative teaching and learning methods for students that will enhance their knowledge skills.
3. College is inclined to develop curricula on different aspects of Add-on programmes by going beyond the formal understanding of University initiated courses.
4. College strictly follows the University syllabi on the skill enhancement Courses. However, if possible, selective professional guidance will be provided to the students.
5. College shall try to organize students in order to implement the nationalist heritage of the institution.
6. College shall expand its foundational activities on “Non-Conventional Renewable Energy.”
7. Incubation: 
   1. There are some research units in our Bangabasi college which lead to entrepreneurship & summer internship for the students and higher research & publications for the faculty members such as Solar system research unit provides the internship training and skill development addon courses on Solar panel installation and solar technology. The daily data obtained from the grid meter of the solar system are utilized in the higher research signifying reduction of the CO₂ in the atmosphere making the clean environment. The data of plantation saved obtained from the grid indicates the greener environment. 
   2. Spectrofluorometer and other instruments have been purchased by the amount of DEST. Research works are carried on in the department of Chemistry and Zoology by the data obtained from the studies.
8. College shall initiate various activities on Extension and Social Outreach Programmes by involving neighbouring areas.
9. College shall continue its activities in the field of uplift of Green Campus.
10. College shall try to establish its own second campus and hostel facilities in order to facilitate the above-mentioned goals.
11. The college continuously promotes advanced research activities of the faculty members and encourages continuous upgradation of academic knowledge to meet the demands of NEP syllabus and uplift the overall academic environment of the college.
